
Another lovely afternoon/evening spent in the kitchen, but the result wasn't quite as pleasing tonight as it was last night. Tonight, it was Pasta
Primavera Salad out my most recent Vegetarian Times magazine (again!) and it was A LOT of chopping and not really worth all of the work. I chopped right through
The Folk Sampler and
Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me and I still had 2 cups of tomatoes to go (patiently working my way through the bounty). It was fun to blanch the veggies, but the dish ended up being a bit bland for my taste.
My honey seemed to think it was good, but she is pretty easy to please... that is part of the reason I love her so much.
It looks pretty, though, doesn't it? Two home-cooked meals this weekend... I am feeling blessed...
